Purpose
The objective of this program is to bring some companionship to those elderly Spanish speaking people, who are alone at home the majority of their time.

All services are culturally and linguistically appropriate for the Spanish speaking community.

Target Audience
The service is available for Spanish speaking elderly people, living in their own homes.

Service Description
People interested in this service may receive a visit, phone call, take a walk to the park or mall, playing cards, doing crafts, watching TV or just read. Calls and visits will be conducted in Spanish and have no charge.

Interested persons will undergo a simple needs assessment. A suitable volunteer for the client will then be found.
