- La Plaza de Mercado - A Market Within A Market
With the support of the Victorian Multicultural Commission
(VMC), CELAS has been creating a lively colourful Latin marketplace within the Queen Victoria Market.
Here the public of Melbourne has been enjoying traditional and authentic examples and vivid displays of culturally diverse foods, arts and crafts. A vibrant mix of tropical music, cultural dance and colourful performances are normally the hightlights on a central stage to further demonstrate the Latin passion, vivaciousness and energy for life. Application Forms will be available from CELAS between August and October each year and the winner(s) will be announced at the CELAS Annual General Meeting by Mr Oscar Diaz.
The winner(s) are chosen by a panel of Senior Managers within Tobin Brothers.
